Colorado Springs or Bust - 2012
I ran across this quote today from Stacey Charter. It is such a good quote for those of us who have found that retirement life does not mean you have to slow down or discontinue dreaming. For my husband and myself, there was a sudden freedom that has come with retirement, and though one needs to be aware of one's responsibilities, it does not mean that we stop living!! We have taken the retirement golden ring and are hopping off the merry-go-round and jumping onto the roller coaster all over again!!!! We have a lot more living to do!!!

Yes, we are loading up the truck and heading out west. Yes...Colorado, here we come! We know with every change there is good and bad, but we are excited about the unknowns as well as the obvious. We have had several chapters to our life and this will be one more that we add to our list. We have lived in farming country where rocks seem to grow in plowed fields. We have lived in sunny, tourist locations where the waters still beckon you to jump right in. Now, we are going to God's country where the majesty rises above you and says, "There is still more." Chapter three here we come!!
